In November 2001, the movers came to the O'Connell
house in North Carolina and furiously put everything in boxes and onto
a
container ship, bound first for the port of Antwerp and then to
Mechelen, Belgium. Mark had accepted/initiated a transfer within
EMC from the sunny Southern US to the gray and drizzle of Belgium, to
try something new, to live in Europe, and in general to turn our lives
upside down. We've been here ever since, and here is a small
