Dead Horse Point State Park


After Mesa Verde we went to the Canyonlands National Park in Utah, camping at the Dead Horse Point State Park (learn more about it at http://www.go-utah.com/utah/dead-horse-point/state-park.html)  The entire canyonlands area is beautiful - barren, rocky, colorful, gorgeous.  Below, pictures of us at the tip of Dead Horse Point itself, with the views over the Island in the Sky part of Canyonlands.

The campground was great - complete with a covered picnic table, cupboards for storage, a little grill, and even (solar powered) electric lights!
