We went to Zeeland,
a picturesque area in the Southern part of the
Netherlands. We stayed in a little campground right on the water
(big
red dot in the photo below, where the arrow points) and right next to
the Neeltje Jans water park (built next to the Oosterschelde
stormuitkering - the East Schelde storm surge barrier.) Our final
day
we went to Middelburg and saw mini-Walcheren, a collection of
miniaturized scenes from all around the area - it was fun to see both
the small-scale and life-sized scale version of the sights, sometimes
in the same day!
