We visited next the Schloss (castle) Hellbrunn, built by a notorious trickster.
Here is the dining table outside, the source of an unexpected fountain display - except for the seat at the head of the table,
and who would sit but the lord of castle, and you can imagine his amusement at his guests displeasure (who couldn't stand until he did...)
A little mechanical theater, all water driven, depicting life in the town.
Another fountain, this time with a magically levitating crown!
John was very pleased about getting to try on the crown.
