Last time we were in Kenya (2007), Karen had her hair cornrowed, but we ran out of time to have Lydia's hair done.
This time Lydia was determined that we wouldn't make that same mistake, so first thing, she had herself transformed!
It took three hours, but it was worth it for Lydia...
