This year Karen decided to show the kids a little bit of Kenya outside of Nairobi,
so they traveled up to Lake Nakuru (Northwest of Nairobi) for a safari.

They saw baboons (including one that stole Lydia's lunch!)
Water buffalo
Zebras (at least one!)
Lions (but no tigers or bears, oh my!)
The sign that they needed to see BEFORE the baboon stole Lydia's lunch!
It was truly a beautiful place...
