Germany, Austria, Slovenia, July 2008

After Karen and the kids returned from Kenya, we all went off on a drive to Slovenia, stopping off in Germany and Austria along the way.
Our first stop was just outside Nuremburg, in a little town called Zirndorf, to visit somewhere we had first been back in 2004 (on our trip to Germany where we lost the camera, so no photos)

We had some worries that the kids would be too old for Playmobil land, but those were soon dispelled, as you can see below:

Lydia in 7th heaven - a princess castle all to herself!

Although it was a cloudy day, John still
enjoyed the water amusements

Because it was a bit of a gray day, we spent most of our time inside, where there
is a huge collection of Playmobil just available for kids to play with.
We don't think John and Lydia minded at all!

One of our jaunts outside, when we ran afoul of the
Playmobil land regulations...

Our campground - same place that we had stayed four years ago!
John and Lydia are playing with their new Playmobil that we had bought at the store.
