After being immersed in the ancient world for nearly a week, it was quite a shock to come to Hurghada - new, gaudy, built up...
Below - our hotel - relatively new, somewhat shoddy construction
(especially the plumbing!!! - we had major problems in our bathroom which were rather unpleasant)
The next day we saw why this was the favorite part of the trip for some - as we went snorkeling! We didn't get to stay in the water for
too long because of the kids, but we did really enjoy the bits we were able to do.
