To celebrate our 40th birthdays, Karen and I escaped to London for a weekend, just the two of us (her parents came
to Belgium to watch the kids for us.) Friday morning we boarded the Eurostar to London (only arriving two hours late!), then wandered down
to the Vicarage hotel, where both my sister and sister-in-law had stayed when they visited London.
After a quick change from our traveling clothes, we were ready for an evening out!
And yes, that is the same suit that Mark bought for his trip to Japan.

Back at home we found that John and Lydia had kept their grandparents busy - in the end, we're not sure who enjoyed the weekend more, them or us!
