Antwerp Ice Sculptures

Christmas 2004, the city of Antwerp brought a whole bunch of ice sculptors to town and they created a ice exhibition - as Karen and I were about to voyage off to the great white North to the Ice Hotel, we thought we would acclimatize a bit...

Karen and the kids on an ice bench, sitting on reindeer skins (the same thing was done in Sweden - the reindeer skins are three not so much to keep YOU warm, but to stop you from warming the bench and melting the ice!)
