After the trip to the beach, Karen spent a few days in Chapel Hill,
having a great time seeing old friends again - Ingrid and Flavio with
their 6 kids, Susan and Eric and their 3, Lori (the kid's favorite
"aunt") and her parents, etc.

The museum of X:Life and Science in
Durham, NC. When we lived there we had a membership here and would
go quite frequently - it is a great, hands-on museum for the kids, and
they always had a great time there. They also have a butterfly
house, where they import butterflies from around the world.
