X:Brugge

X:Brugge is a picturesque town in Belgium, one of the prettiest (and most frequented by tourists) towns in the whole country.
Below we are on the main square in Brugge with Liz Moore, a friend from Orange Church (Chapel Hill, NC).
Brugge is about an hour and half away (easy train ride) and makes a great day trip - the kids love taking a boat tour of the canals, we climbed to the top of the Belfry and had some great views, there is an aquarium with a dolphinarium there (it is high on our list of places to visit) - the only problem is that you almost never hear Dutch spoken (too many tourists!!)
