A trip to X:Knokke-Heist, on the Belgian coast


In June Silvia and Stefano, our friends from Milan, Italy, came to visit, along with their children, Anna and Marco, and off we trundled to the coast to Knokke-Heist for a weekend of camping!

Unfortunately, we believed the ads (see below) and thought this would be great for camping, until we go there...

But the ads forgot to show the 4pm weather!!! Unfortunately, we were enjoying a nice bicycle ride on the nice beachside paths when this occurred, so we raced back towards town and then huddled under the eaves to try and keep dry...

But, as in all things, it really wasn't so bad, and good friends can always make up for bad weather!
