The visitors start arriving!


One of our first visitors was Lori (Mark's cousin) - a wonderful "aunt" to our children.  John for a while would say "Lori is my mommy." - it is clear how he feels about her.

Lori has visited us twice now - once in April 2002 (see below) and again in October 2003 - all of us are always glad to see her and sad when she leaves.

Below you see Lori on her second visit, reading with the two kids, and then the two kids in their new UNC outfits (courtesy of their Aunt and favorite UNC fan!)


 
And here are some scenes from her first visit - on the right is John and Lori in downtown Mechelen, on the left Lori with Lydia (boy has Lydia changed!!) near our oil stove in the kitchen (one of our two sources of heat in the old house).  We also visited Brugges and Antwerp with Lori - we all kept pretty busy on her trip!
