Peter and Marika, our first Belgian friends, join us for lunch one sunny day at our old house.  They have two kids, Jasper and Arne, who are enjoying lunch with John and Lydia.  The four kids play wonderfully together and have spent many afternoons together.

Miriam and Adam Isaacs we met at church (an English language church outside Brussels, X:St Pauls) - Ruth, their older child, was also born Nov 2 and is the exact same age as John, while Grace is about 2 months older than Lydia.

Dasja is originally from the Netherlands but has lived in Belgium for several years now - she was one of the first people we met when we moved to our new house.  She has three kids, Matthijs (about 8 months older than John and one of John's good friends), Jeanine (about 6 months younger than John), and Rainier (six months or so older than Lydia).
