Our funny house

Every now and again we'd see hot air balloons quite near our house.  We'd see them very well, and once or twice they even landed within a couple of hundred yards of our house!




Our landlord did a few strange things, but this one we couldn't pass up.  The oven kept not working properly (we were without an oven for probably 2 months of the time we spent in the house!) - one day when the oven was supposedly fixed the landlord came to return it (without calling first), and, when we weren't at home, he decided to leave it outside the house, nicely protected from the Belgian rainy weather...  I'm just glad that we didn't decide to go away for this weekend!!
